About Sydney

No one is exempt from the ongoing  struggles that life challenges us with. At  some point you may have experienced anxiety, depression, grief or loss. Going through these things can be intimidating, but you do not need to take this journey on your own.  I am passionate about creating a positive and comforting  therapeutic environment to work alongside you and to achieve your desired goals.

With my educational background in social justice and several years of experience working in the caregiving field, I understand the importance of  creating a culturally safe space. Drawing on my experiences, and building a strong  connection with your therapist is something I value within my approach.

Working with several modalities, I will ensure an approach that is best suitable for each individual. With many years devoted to grief and end of life care, I understand the uniqueness of each person and how they experience life. I will incorporate this person-centered approach when supporting you  throughout your ups and downs, and  together I hope to bring positive change to  your life.

Sydney is also certified in Mental Health First Aid, Anger Management and Dementia ability.
