About Sarwat

As an intern therapist at Seha Therapy, I bring a unique blend of academic knowledge and hands-on experience to my practice. I have a BA degree in Psychology from York University and am currently completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, cultural identity, trauma, relationship issues, and self-improvement.

In addition to my academic knowledge, I am a current administrative staff member at Seha Therapy. This role allows me to understand and be well-equipped for the inner workings of the mental health field and develop a deeper appreciation for the complexities of client care.

I approach therapy from an integrative perspective, drawing on modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to create a tailored treatment plan for each client. I also continue to grow and learn new approaches to add to my practice. My continuous goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, ultimately empowering them to make positive life changes.

I am dedicated to ongoing learning and growth in the mental health field, and I am committed to providing high-quality, ethical, and culturally sensitive care to all my clients.
